Morning Inspiration…. sitting back I often wonder and think about what is real friendship? Well according to the Wikipedia friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people. Friendship is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association. Although there are many forms of friendship, some of which may vary from place to place, certain characteristics are present in many types of friendship. Such characteristics include affection, sympathy, empathy, honesty, altruism (selflessness is the principle or practice of concern for the welfare of others, mutual understanding and compassion, enjoyment of each other’s company, trust, and the ability to be oneself, express one’s feelings, and make mistakes without fear of judgment from the friend. Everyone should sit back and think about what kind of friendship you really want to have with the people around you.
In the words of Bishop Dennis Leonard: If you think back on your past, you will see that the majority of messes you got into were because of impatience. the enemy wants you to think that God has forgotten you. He’s a liar. We need to sit back and wait for God to do His thing. Be still and know that He is God. He is working it out.
Having Patience and planting seeds are two different things. Planting seeds and watching God water them is making those connections that God has sent you to make with those people whom he has touch to do the work that he has told you to do. Being impatient is forcing those connections that are not right with the people who are not for you. If you are in a situation and it doesn’t run smoothly then that is not the situation for you. Sit back and and pray your way through until God shows up and shows out. Sometimes there could be a test and your patience can show God that you are ready for that next level.
Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
Morning Inspiration… Social media has been a platform for most of us to vent, whether it is on Facebook, twitter, kick, Instagram or other social media sites. Well, I am here today to say that it is OK to vent but don’t transfer your negativity on to others if you have an opinion and it is going to hurt someone’s feelings don’t say it at all. Let’s all stop and think about what we do and how me can make a serious impact on someone else lives.
In the words of Durrell Givens…The meaning and the purpose behind some events are unknowable. This is the ultimate test of our faith. We must trust that everyone in life is here to learn different lessons at different times, that good and bad experiences are only the perceptions of man. After all, some of your worst experiences have truly been your best. They’ve sculpted you, trained you, developed within you a sensitivity and set you in a direction that reaches out to impact your ultimate destiny.
Morning Inspiration… “The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ would take the slums out of people, and then they would take themselves out of the slums.
The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature.”
― Ezra Taft Benson
